This Ogee Headstone is our standard memorial and is also our best seller. The main reason for its popularity is due to the fact it can be made into any size, thus supporting the compliance with any cemetery sizing regulation throughout the UK.
FYI: This standard headstone can also be designed with a straight top.

From this standard starting point we can discuss with you the adding of photographs, beading, etched designs, different shapes, styles of carving, colour of granite, kerb sets and wording…. the choice really is endless, and we’re here to help.
So, from this standard Ogee Headstone to a bespoke memorial, whatever you’re looking for, every shape size and colour can be catered for. Included in the price
As standard practice, all of our newly purchased full sized memorials include:
i. FREE 70 letter inscription
ii. FREE delivery within 20 miles of workshop.
(After this distance, it would be charged at £1 per mile each way)
iii. FREE fitting in the cemetery using a Ground Anchor system.
(Compulsory now in most cemeteries)
iv. ALL headstones are fixed by our time served monumental masons.

How to order
Please contact us by email or telephone, or if you have all the relevant details to hand, please use the contact form below and Debs in the office will be all too happy to help.
We can assist with all aspects of your order; from liaising with the cemetery, choosing the right memorial and inscription, adding bespoke etchings, memorial photo plaques and other grave decorations.

Once we have confirmed the final price, we will ask for a 50% deposit to proceed with the order. For more details about payments and timescales please contact Albert Jones Memorials direct.
Additional costs
Lettering:
The first 70 letters are free when purchasing a full sized headstone.
Each letter or number after that is costed at £3.75 each
Cemetery Fees:
Every cemetery and churchyard will have their own unique fee to have a memorial placed within their location.
This again is exacerbated by differing fees for each borough.
As burial ground fees are not a standard price throughout the district, feel free to contact us directly with the potential location of the grave, and we will be able to swiftly advise you of this additional cost.
Delivery:
FREE delivery within 20 miles of workshop.
However, please note, after this distance, delivery of your stone will be charged at £1 per mile each way.
Insurance:
Our Headstone Insurance policy is regarded as an ‘all risks’ policy and is used by our clients who seek protection against a whole spectrum of unfortunate events.
Are you the grave owner?
At this point the grave owner will need to sign a grave owners authority form; this must be signed by a living person!
If the rightful owner (name on the deeds who originally bought the grave) is now deceased, then the family must get in touch with the cemetery office and change the deeds ownership to one of the family or next of kin.
